I sometimes think of the untold love stories that went to the grave. The countless souls who lived with the crippling burden of a pure, undying love. Long after you and I are gone, this will continue to be a “thing” with humanity. It is not going away.
Acceptance and tolerance won’t happen overnight. It’s a struggle that will persist for as long as our species endures. The good thing is that the needle is moving. Change can happen but we must accept it won’t be seismic in scale.
Where does bigotry originate? Is it tribalism? Is it religion? There are many opinions and thoughts, but at the end of the day, it all comes back to two adults who aren’t hurting each other. Two reasonable and rational adults who just want to be together.
